Rob Schuurman is General Manager of Nedap Healthcare, part of Nedap N.V., a company which operates world-wide and is quoted on the Stock Exchange.

Following his studies in Electrical Energy Technology and Electrical Power Engineering, he worked in general management, in a number of different capacities. He joined Nedap Healthcare at the beginning of 2004.

At the end of 2005, his team integrated the NFC telephone into the iO concept. At the start of 2006, with 700 nurses using this innovative solution, his team achieved a world first.
