Patrice Hertzog is Payment Systems Expert, advisor to the Management, at Credit Mutuel - CIC, large financial group in France and strongly active in payments and innovation. His job includes strategic business plan, project management and participation in industry work.

Involved in Research and Development projects for payment products, and especially in the card business for more than 20 years, he is working on solutions such as smart cards, electronic and mobile payments, commercial cards, contactless and EMV chip, and is presently concerned with the implementation of the Single Euro Payment Area.

Patrice holds a master’s degree in computer science and has been software development engineer and IT Project Manager in several fields in banking and retail.
